Business Valuations
The valuation is central to any discussion related to a potential transaction. In determining the value of a company, division or of specific assets, there is no one size fits all approach. There are an endless number of ever changing variables that need to be taken into account which makes the determination of the actual value more of an art form than a science.
Our process applies traditional financial valuation methodologies such as cash flow multiples, discounted cash flow, public and private market comparisons in addition to other mergers and acquisition environment considerations. These additional considerations include understanding the uniqueness of different buyer groups, industry trends, local market dynamics, the competitive landscape, the business, and product cycles. The end result is a valuation range supported my verifiable documentation and substantive data. Upon the creation of a business valuation, it becomes the property of the client regardless on the action they choose fit to follow.
